thanks Matt I enjoyed looKing at your cartoons
on your blog, they're great. I am determined to do more gag style cartoons in the future. My bible is the complete collection of New Yorker comics. I look over it obsessively hoping to absorb the knack to doing a good gag. I drew Howard for a mag the other day to go with a scathing editorial. Was quite cathartic.
On you tube, what is your animation called?. I am not terribly graceful on the computer and I am sure it will be staring me in the face!
Thanks again for contacting me.

Hi Mandy
The animation is called Mr Anxious.
The new yorker cartoons are awesome, I've checked out their website a fair bit.My favorite cartoon collection is Prehistory of the Far Side by Gary Larson. There's a lot in there about how he writes gags, roughs and things where people got really offended by accident, as well as how he started, it's excellant.I'm also a fan of old Punch magazines.Do you know B Kliban, his gag cartoons are the best, awesome drawing and very weird, worth googling.

Cheers
